The Michigan Brewing Company apparently feels the same way, as they've just invested $7 million in creating a new line of beer inspired by Kid Rock. Yes, Kid Rock. No, I didn't know that he drank beer, either; I pegged him as more of a Colt .45 man myself.
Either way, I can tell you right now where this beer will be popular: Detroit, where it will be consumed in an ironic manner by skinny hipster kids (similar to "PBR," or Pabst Blue Ribbon, which my cousins in the deep woods of East Texas would find highly amusing if they ever ventured into an actual city). And trailer parks, where it won't.
The company received a state tax break to the tune of $723,000 over seven years to create the brew, which has not yet been given a name. Feeling creative? Leave your suggestions for the beer's name in the comments section below.
