Memorable Onion Rings at Cheddar’s

Thanks to Christopher Huang for recommending Cheddar’s Casual Cafe (10601 Westpark 713-706-3663) for onion rings. The onions there are mild and sweet and wrapped inside of a crunchy, flour-based batter.
They remind me a lot of the rings at Prince's Hamburgers in the ‘60s. The Prince's on I-45 by Finger's Furniture became our family's default dining spot at least twice a week till my little sister, 14 years my younger, reached her terrible twos.
To my mind, the reincarnated Prince's isn't doing them as well as I remember them, so I was really pleased to discover Cheddar's. – Jay Francis
