You Pick Our Summer TV Club Show
This will be Art Attack soon without your help.
This week marked the beginning of the end, the end of 2012-2013 television season, that is. It hit me last week that pretty soon we will be inundated with re-runs and late-season premieres that will probably be canceled before they even start. My colleagues, Pete Vonder Haar and Jef with one F, and I were musing about this over email with much distress. What's a pop-culture writer to do with nothing to watch on television (besides read books, see quality documentaries or go outside and communicate with living people)?
And then it dawned on us; what the hell are we talking about? There are a million television shows to be watched and discussed. There is literally 50 years worth of television that we know little to nothing about.
So the three of us decided to start a Summer Television Club where we will have a round table discussion about a non-current television show. But we're having some problems agreeing on what we should watch and discuss. If it was up to me we would watch Beverly Hills 90210 or They Came From Outer Space, but Pete made fun of me for even suggesting these titles. And we all know what show Jef would choose.
We need your help! Post your suggestions in the comments as to which television show (and season) the three of us should review this summer, and we will choose the best (meaning whichever Netflix/Amazon are streaming for free).
Let the great experiment begin!
