Larry Hagman's Hilarious Dallas Outtakes Plus Some Random YouTube Action

This holiday weekend, the TV world lost a treasure as actor Larry Hagman moved on to that big ranch in the sky at the age of 81, due to complications from throat cancer. He was best known as the put-upon Major Nelson on I Dream of Jeannie and, of course, the tyrannical and swarthy J.R. Ewing on Dallas. A statement on his official site via his family:
"Larry was back in his beloved Dallas re-enacting the iconic role he loved most. Larry's family and close friends had joined him in Dallas for the Thanksgiving holiday. When he passed, he was surrounded by loved ones. It was a peaceful passing, just as he had wished for."
He recently returned to his Ewing role for TNT's reboot of the iconic series, which Art Attack's Pete Vonder Haar covered dutifully and masterfully this past summer. Hagman had a pile of film work behind him too, including Fail-Safe, Mother, Jugs & Speed, Harry and Tonto, Superman, Nixon and Primary Colors. Hagman is usually remembered as the cowboy-hatted Ewing, but his comedy work on Jeannie shouldn't get lost in the shuffle either.
