The Best Fashions at Austin City Limits 2012

ACL commemorative artwork by Houston artist Carlos Hernandez.
Unlike the big festivals on the West Coast, Austin City Limits is a bit of a laid-back affar, fashionwise. And with good reason. It may be fall, but temps are still in the high 80s, which means cutoffs and bikini tops are pretty much de rigueur. If there was a uniform for ACL it would be cowboy boots and sundresses for girls, band T-shirts and bandannas for guys (and maybe a straw hat).

But that's not to say one can't take inspiration from the clotheshorses at the festival. This year Houston's own artist Carlos Hernandez was fully represented: He designed the official ACL 2012 logo and his work was on T-shirts throughout Zilker Park. Plus we also saw a few St. Arnold Santo shirts, the logo of which was also designed by Hernandez.

From football team repping to boho chic, here are our favorite looks at ACL 2012.

These guys. These guys wore different sets of suits like this all three days during the festival. We appreciate guys who dress up, but weren't they sweaty?

Rachel Kolar looked smoking hot in this leopard body suit and no shoes. If you can pull this look off, you're totally a rock star.

Bright sunnies are a must-have, but we like the variety of these pixelated versions.
