The summer's coming to an end, which means this is one of the last weekends to catch the many exhibitions in town. In fact, this is the last weekend to see two of the Houston Museum of Natural Science's popular exhibits: "Ancient Ukraine" and "Texas! The Exhibition" both close Monday.

Opening today:
The Museum of Printing History's much-anticipated "Greetings From Houston: Vintage Postcard Views of the City" opens tonight with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m.

"Leslie Kell: Photographic Interpretations" opens today at the Jung Center, but we'll have to wait until next week for the artist's official reception.

Closing Friday, September 2:
"Vacation," a group show curated by Emily Sloan and Sally Sprout, finishes up at Williams Tower Gallery.

Closing Saturday, September 3:
Houston Center for Contemporary Craft puts its tribute to its ten years of artists-in-residence to bed, as does Hiram Butler Gallery its Dana Harper and Jessica Stockholder exhibits.

Closing Sunday, September 4:
The Heritage Society closes its historical exhibit "Culture in Frontier Texas."
