Cocks, Crap, and Demonic Livestock: Top Five Crazy Political Commercials

No need to worry. It's just California Senate candidate Tom Campbell--trying to steal your soul.
The fervor of the current election has produced so many wacky ads it was hard to choose just five. If we hadn't already covered them, Christine O'Donnell's "I'm not a Witch" and CAGW's "Chinese Professor" would definitely top out the list.

In celebration of the 2010 election (less than a week from today) we present our list of the top banned, bad, and downright crazy political campaign spots.

5. "Bill Clinton VooDoo Doll" (2006)
Ok, so this one isn't a campaign spot, but it's a banned ad featuring a former president so we felt the need to include it. The ad for is Centraal Beheer, a division of Apeldoorn, the largest insurance agency in the Netherlands famous for their funny commercials in which characters suffer terrible yet humorous misfortunes, followed by the slogan "Even Apeldoorn bellen" ("literally Let's call Apeldoorn", but seen in international versions as "Just Call Us."). The Dutch use the ad's catch phrase in the same manner as Homer Simpson's "Doh!" However, the U.S. government did not see the humor in sticking something up former President Clinton's ... (well, just watch the clip) ... and demanded that the ad be pulled from the airwaves.
